
Mehdi Loda
Mehdi is a senior policy analyst and advisor with over a decade of experience providing counsel and recommendations to ministers and senior executives in the Government of Saskatchewan, Canada. He has successfully led national and international projects across various ministries, advancing Saskatchewan’s priorities and interests in key sectors such as healthcare, international education, and workforce mobility. Passionate about international relations, policy development, and strategic partnerships, his ability to identify and anticipate emerging trends has been instrumental in supporting decision-making in response to complex and evolving regulatory, political, and economic landscapes.
Originally from Morocco, Mr. Loda completed his studies in the United States, earning both a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Management from the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota. He also earned a certification in Public Policy from the University of Regina’s Johnson-Shoyama School of Public Policy in addition of being trilingual in French, English and Arabic. Mr. Loda looks forward to contributing his knowledge and skills to the True North International Development Agency and fostering long-term collaboration between Canada and Africa to drive sustainable growth and change on critical issues such as access to education, economic development, gender equality, and environmental awareness.
